Al-Rahmah Medical Charitable Society continued its contribution to the treatment of needy patients on “Shefaa” platform of the Health Endowment Fund.

The number of cases that were covered by the Society through the platform reached 67 beneficiaries at a cost of 3.4 million riyals, which included various cases of specialized surgeries such as cardiovascular operations, eye operations, tumor excisions, repair of congenital anomalies and others, in addition to general surgeries and non-surgical treatment services such as chemotherapy and dialysis sessions.

The Shefaa platform is an electronic platform affiliated with the Health Endowment Fund and is one of the government donation platforms. It aims to facilitate the provision of treatment services, medical devices, and medicines to the needy, the cut off and emergency cases who do not have the financial ability to obtain treatment in health facilities. The platform displays on its website the cases of needy patients in cooperation with health societies in the Kingdom, so that benefactors can donate electronically to cover the costs of their treatment.
